Ingredients

2 TBSP avocado oil

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 stalks celery

2 cloves garlic

2 small turnips 1/2 in cubes

2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp celery salt

1/4 tsp Ground white pepper

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper optional

1 cup Diced tomatoes

1 1/2 lbs cod cut into 1 1/2 in chunks

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 cup fish stock

1 bay leaf

1 lb shrimp peeled, tails removed

1 small lemon juice

1/2 cup whipping cream optional

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp finely chopped parsley leaves optional


Directions

Set instant pot to saute, pour in avocado oil. Saute onion and celery for 2 minutes. Stir in garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in turnips, smoked paprika, celery salt, white pepper, and cayenne. Mix well. Stir in tomatoes Season cod with salt and pepper. Mix cod into tomatoes, pour in stock and toss in bay leaf. Turn off instant pot. Pressure cook for 3 min (5 min if frozen) Allow pressure to naturally release for 5 min, then fully release. Stir in shrimp and lemon juice. Keep warm for 3 minutes (5 if frozen) Check to see if shrimp done, if not add 2 more minutes. For creamy stew add in cream. If cooled, switch to saute.
