Sister Baby's Buttermilk PIe

Ingredients

1 recipe flaky pie crust

1 cup Sugar

1/2 cup Unsalted butter softened

3 Eggs

1 tablespoon Flour

1 cup Buttermilk

1 tablespoon Vanilla

1 tablespoon Orange peel finely shredded


Directions

PREPARE the pie crust; set aside. IN a med mixing bowl beat sugar, butter and eggs with mixer on med to high until well combined. Beat in flour. Beat in buttermilk and vanilla til well mixed. STIR in orange peel. (mixture will appear curdled.) POUR the filling into pie curst. BAKE 350 for 40 to 45 min or til filling is set around the edges and center still has a little wiggle to it. COOL completely on a wire rack before serving. CHILL to store.
