Spicy Sweet Shrimps

Tasty shrimps and flavorful veggies on top of steaming rice. So Asian!

Ingredients

0.5 kilo shrimps deveined, uncooked and peeled

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion julienned

0.5 medium green bell pepper julienned

1 small carrot julienned

1 steamed rice

0.25 cup kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)

0.125 cup Soy sauce

1 teaspoon olive oil

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper shredded

1 teaspoon cornstarch (depends on how thick you want it)


Directions

1. Stir together kecap manis, soy sauce, olive oil, sugar, shredded cayenne pepper and cornstarch until cornstarch is dissolved; set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir-fry onion, bell pepper and carrot in oil for 2 to 3 minutes. 3. Stir in soy sauce mixture and shrimp. Stir-fry 3 to 5 minutes, until shrimp are red and sauce is thick. 4. Serve over rice. 5. Enjoy! =)
