1. WASH PRUNES. DRAIN. 2. COMBINE PRUNES AND WATER, COVER HEAT TO JUST BELOW BOILING. SIMMER 40 MINUTES. 3. ADD SUGAR AND LEMON SLICES; SIMMER 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL SUGAR IS DISSOLVED. 4.
