Ingredients

1/4 cup Light brown sugar

1/3 cup Soy sauce

1/4 cup Honey

1/4 cup Ketchup

1 teaspoon 5 spice powder

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 pinch wasabi powder

1/8 teaspoon Ground white pepper

3 or 4 cloves garlic

4 Pork chops

Directions

Combine first 9 ingrediants in a bowl and wisk until blended. Place pork chops in crockpot and pour sauce evenly over chops. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. If sauce seems thin, stir in corn starch to thicken an hour or so before serving. Serve over white rice and spoon sauce over top.

This marinade is delicious. I used 4 boneless pork chops, and they were tender from the long low cook setting. The meat would probably have been even better with bone-in pork chops, since the bones usually keep the meat nice and moist while it cooks.
