Tuna-noodle Casserole

Ingredients

6 ounces Noodles (3 cups), medium sized

1 can Tuna drained

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

1 cup Celery sliced

1/3 cup Onion chopped

1/4 cup Green pepper chopped

1/4 cup Pimiento chopped, canned

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 10.5-oz can Condensed cream of celery soup

1/2 cup milk

4 ounces Sharp American Cheese or cheddar, shredded, (approx. 1 cup)

1/2 cup Almonds toasted, slivered


Directions

Cook noodles using package directions; drain. Combine noodles, tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, green pepper, pimiento, and salt. Blend cream of celery soup and milk together; heat through. Add shredded cheese; heat and stir till cheese melts. Add to noodle mixture. Turn into 2-quart casserole. If desired, top with ? cup toasted slivered almonds. Bake uncovered at 425? for 20 minutes.
