Ingredients

8 Crescent Rolls, uncooked commercial or see the Crescent rolls recipe

3 ounces

2 tablespoons

1 medium

1/2 teaspoon fresh ground

6 ounces cooked and finely chopped

2 tablespoons

1/2 cup

1 teaspoon

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 375F. Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, the juice and zest of the lemon, pepper, and chicken. Mix at low to medium speed until well mixed, cleaning the sides a few times. Have the crescent rolls laid out flat. Using a #30 ice cream scoop, place even portions of the filling into the middle of each crescent roll. Fold the corners of the rolls together to seal. Breading: In a bowl, combine the bread crumbs and the coarse ground pepper. Melt the butter in a separate bowl. Dip the turkey crescents into the butter and roll in the breading mixture. Place on a sheet pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
