Upside-Down German Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

1 c Coconut

2 c Powdered sugar

1 c Pecans Chopped

1 Stick margarine

1 German chocolate cake mix

1 8-oz package Cream cheese softened


Directions

Oil, but do not flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Layer coconut and chopped pecans in bottom of pan. Prepare cake mix using the directions on the box. Pour over the coconut and chopped pecans. Mix together the remaining ingredients. drop by spoon over cake mix. Bake 350 for 50 minutes. After cake has cooled, turn over. Dust with powdered sugar on top, if desired. I like it better with yellow cake!!! So easy....;)

I made this to take to work and everyone enjoyed it. I did not flip it out bottom-side up as the recipe suggests, and it still came out of the pan easily and looked nice. While it is not true German Chocolate Cake, it does give you similar flavors. It was quick and easy to make!
