This is more of a dinner roll than a true biscuit. No matter how far apart you place them they spread out to fill the pan as they rise. The taste is very 'home made bread' like. Very good taste, no complaints about that. I have made this recipe 4 times now and tried putting them into a muffin pan. They rose up fine in the muffin pan but the cooking time must be much shorter. I burnt the first batch by using the time given in the recipe. I will continue to experiment with the muffin pan so that they can be used as true dinner rolls. The taste and fluffiness makes it worth the effort. The dough freezes well if you can keep from deforming it when you pick them up.
