Alice's Picante Sauce

Best picante sauce!

Ingredients

10 tomatoes

1 or 2 onions

2 or 3 Bell peppers

1 whole head garlic + garlic powder to taste

1/4 to 1/3 jar pickled Jalapenos w/juice

1/8 to 1/4 cup vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

1 to 2 tsp. sugar (2)

1 heaping Tbsp cilantro optional


Directions

Chop all ingredients in chopper or food processor and mix well. Put in stockpot and boil for about 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Put in HOT jars, seal, and turn upside down. Cover jars with a towel so jars do not cool too fast. Check and make sure lids are concave and none are popped up. Refrigerate after opening. Makes about 6 pints.
