Apple-Mustard Glazed Ham

Ingredients

Spiced apple rings; optional

1 Fully cooked ham; bone in or

Cloves

1 c Apple jelly

1 tb Lemon juice

1 tb Prepared mustard

1/4 ts Ground nutmeg

http://www.geocities.com/NapaValley/4908/ham.htm In small saucepan, combine jelly, mustard, lemon juice and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and set aside. Preheat oven to 325 degrees, F. Score the surface of the ham, making diamond shapes 1/2 inch deep. Insert a clove in each diamond. Place ham on a rack in shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes per pound, or until a meat thermometer reads 140 degrees. During the last 30 minutes of baking, brush with glaze twice. Garnish with apple rings if desired.
