Apple Walnut Bread

Ingredients

1/2 cup Butter or margarine

2/3 cup Sugar

2 Eggs

2 Apples peeled and chopped

1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese grated

1/3 cup Walnuts chopped

2 cups Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1/2 teaspoon Baking soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt


Directions

Preheat oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, beating until light. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in chopped apples, cheese and nuts. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually and gently stir into apple mixture. Mix well. Pour into a greased 9 by 5 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350F for 40-50 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and cut into 1-inch slices.

I added 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg and 1/8 tsp cloves.

Big oops. This recipe was imported from my old recipe software. The old software would not allow for eaches. In stating this, the recipe requires 2 eggs and 2 apples.
