Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

3 cans water chestnuts sliced

1 pound bacon

toothpicks


Directions

Combine sauce ingredients and set aside. Cut bacon slices in thirds. Wrap bacon pieces around water chestnuts, secure with toothpicks. Place in dish or pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Drain grease. Pour sauce over water chestnuts or brush with basting brush. Bake for about 20-30 minutes more or until bacon is cooked.

These are very good. Made them two years ago as an appetizer for Christmas dinner and everybody raved about them. So good I have made them on several different special occasions.
