Baked Caramelized Onion Dip Bread Bowl

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Butter

1 Large Onion Thinly sliced

2 Cloves Garlic minced

1 Cup Gruyere Shredded

8 Ounces Cream cheese Softened

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

Pinch Kosher Salt

1/4. teaspoon Ground black pepper

Pinch Chili flakes

2 Teaspoons Worchestsire sauce

1 Round Sourdough bread Top removed and sliced into pieces

Crackers For dipping


Directions

Preheat oven to 400. Heat butter in a skillet over medium low heat . Add onions and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and caramelized. , about 30-40 minutes. Scrape the onions into a large bowl and add cream cheese, mayo, and worchestshire. Season w salt and pepper and chili flakes and mix well. Transfer dip to bread bowl and place on baking sheet lined w parchment. Scatter bread pieces around the loaf. Bake until hot and bubbly 20-30 minutes and serve warm w break and crackers
