Baked Flounder with Lemon Garlic Butter

Ingredients

1 lb Flounder Filets

4 tablespoons Butter - Unsalted

2 tablespoons Fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoons Garlic minced or pressed (3 cloves)

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika


Directions

Preheat the oven to 325°F, and butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside. Pat the fillets dry with a paper towel, then place them in the prepared baking dish. Pour the butter mixture over the fillets. Sprinkle smoked paprika over the top. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes (may need a few more minutes for thick fillets), or until the flounder flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon. Serve hot with a salad or steamed veggies.
