Baked Penne

Baked penne made with Philadelphia cooking creme

Ingredients

1/2 lb extra lean ground beef

1/2 cup chopped onions and green peppers

1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce

1 tub (10 oz) philadelphia italian cheese & herb cooking creme

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 cups cooked penne pasta (do this first)


Directions

Heat over to 350 Make penne as directed on package, set aside. brown meat with vegetables in a large nonstick skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup cooking creme and 1/2 cup mozzarella: cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until mozzarella is melted. Add pasta; mix lightly spoon in 2-qt. casserole; top with remaining cooking creme and mozzarella. Cover. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through uncovering after 15 minutes.

This is one of my favorite recipes. My husband said it tastes like lasagna and he absolutely loved it, as did I. I did leave the peppers out but used the onions. I hope you enjoy this. I"ll post a pic next time I make it.
