Beanie Meanies

A Spicy version of the classic Beanie Weenies.My Original recipie calls for Famous Daves' brand barbecue sauces but could be substituted with your favorite hot and sweet sauces(uses both).

Ingredients

2 16-oz cans Bushs' Original baked Beans

2 links Hot Links thourogly cooked and sliced

1/2 cup A&W Rootbeer (not diet)

1 small Onion finely chopped

1/4 cup Famous Daves' Rich and Sassy Barbecue sauce

1/4 cup Famous Daves' Devils Spit Barbecue Sauce

1/2 teaspoon Dry mustard

Ground Black Pepper to taste


Directions

Cook Hot Links in a fry pan thouroughly and slice into 1/2" rounds.Set Aside Fry onions in same pan hot links were cooked in In a 4 quart ceramic coated bean/stock pot empty 2 cans of Bushs'' original baked beans. Add Other liquid ingredients and stir well.(bbq sauce, rootbeer, onion) Add dry ingredients and stir until mixed.(dry mustard,black pepper) Mix in Sliced Hot Links Place mixture uncovered in smoker with other meats(ribs,butts,rib meat,fatties etc...)Stir occasionally. Leave in smoker until mixture has reduced down to desired thickness. Serve with pulled pork sammys as a side dish or enjoy on their own.
