Beef Brisket ~ Slow Cooker

Ingredients

5 pound Brisket

2 large Onions Sliced

1 cup Beef Broth

1/2 cup Onion Soup Mix

4 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

1 tablespoon Brown Sugar


Directions

Place onions in bottom of slow cooker. Pour broth over onions. Place brisket, fat side up, in cooker. Spread mustard over top of brisket. Sprinkle onion mix over brisket. Cook on low for 9 hrs. Remove cooked brisket and place in roasting pan. Spread brown sugar over brisket. Broil about 5 min, or until top is crispy brown. Watch carefully as not to burn. Remove and set aside for approx. 30 min. before cutting. Cut against the grain for slices of meat. Cut with the grain for pulled meat.
