Black Pepper Mussels

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb mussels scrubbed & debearded

2 tsp pepper

extra virgin olive oil

lemon wedges


Directions

Put the mussels and ¼ cup water in a skillet. Season with 1 tsp pepper. Cover and cook over high heat, stirring once, until the mussels open, about 2-3 minutes. Discard any unopened mussels and transfer to a bowl. Season with the remaining pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and serve with lemon wedges.
