Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry

Healthy version of Beef and Broccoli.

Ingredients

1/2 pound Chicken breast cubed

1 1/2 tbsp Oyster Sauce

1 1/2 tbsp Shao Hsing wine

1/2 tsp Cornstarch

1/2 tsp sugar or Truvia

1 tsp Light soy sauce

2 tsp Sesame Oil

1 inch ginger sliced thin

2 large cloves garlic sliced thin

1/2 pound broccoli

3 tbsp chicken broth

1 1/2 tbsp peanut oil


Directions

1. Combine oyster sauce, wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and sugar in a bowl. Whisk until smooth. 2. Heat a tbsp of oil in the wok. Add garlic and ginger and sautee until fragrant, about ten seconds. Add chicken, stir, and leave to sear for one minute. Continue stir frying until chicken is lightly browned but no cooked through. Remove from wok and set aside. 3. Add remained oil to wok and throw in the broccoli. Stir fry for thirty seconds before swirling in the chicken broth. Allow to cook and steam until broccoli is bright green and almost tender. If necessary, add liquid from sitting chicken. 4. Return chicken to the wok and combine. Stir in the sauce. Continue stir frying until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through. 5. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over brown rice.
