Chicken Cacciatore for 8

Ingredients

2 pounds boneless chicken

2 medium green peppers diced

2 cups mushrooms sliced

2 medium onions sliced

4 cloves garlic minced

2 pounds tomatoes, canned

2 cans Tomato paste

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 teaspoons oregano

1 teaspoon celery seed

2 bay leaf, whole

1/2 cup white wine


Directions

Place onion, green pepper and mushrooms in bottom of CROCK-POT, add chicken pieces. Combine garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, herbs and wine in a large (4 cup) measuring cup and pour over vegetables and chicken. Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours [High 2 1/2 to 4 hours]
