Ingredients

12 cups water

1 whole Chicken

1 leeks

1 Onion

4 carrots

4 stalks celery

1 parsnip peeled and chopped

1 turnip peeled and chopped

1 head Garlic sliced in half

3 sprigs rosemary

oregano


Directions

Butcher the chicken, leaving only the bones and guts. Combine all into a boiling pot of water. Simmer for 2-3 hrs. Yields 6.75 cups
