Chili with Rum

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Salad oil

2 cloves Garlic minced

2 tablespoons Chili powder

1 teaspoon Salt

3 cans 16oz kidney or pinto beans Drained

1/2 cup Dark rum

2 medium Finely chopped onions

1 can 6oz tomato pate

1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano

3 pounds Ground beef

2 Cans 28 oz Stew or chunk tomato


Directions

Heat oil in 8 quart pot lightly brown onion and garlic, add meat breaking it up and stirring with wooden spoon until color changes. Add remaining ingredients stirring. Cover and simmer for 2 hours checking seasonings
