1 cup Guinness stout
10 tablespoons unsalted butter
3/8 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 cups superfine sugar (I used granulated)
3/8 cup sour cream
2 large Eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
8 oz cream cheese room temperature
4 tablespoons butter room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
3-4 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
I made this cake for friends and they loved it. I am planning on making again later this month.
renandreReally yummy! I made them in cupcake form and they turned out very moist. I added an additional tsp of Baileys to the icing and as a result, the icing stayed creamy and never got dry on the top. Thanks for posting!
