Ingredients

2 pounds lean ground beef*

1 small onion chopped

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder

2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon cayenne more or less to your taste

1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 cups chicken broth

1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes

2 (8 ounce) cans tomato paste

1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar

1 tablespoon worcestershire

2 bay leaves

2-4 small-medium spaghetti squash halved lengthwise + seeds removed

olive oil for drizzling

salt + pepper to taste

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese for serving

chopped onions for serving (optional)

oyster crackers for serving (optional)

1 can kidney beans drained and rinsed, for serving (optional)

Really yummy and cheesy! Great combination of spices. This recipe makes a LOT of chili - with the spaghetti squash, enough to feed 6-8 hungry people. I'd definitely include the kidney beans, maybe 2 cans.
