Clam Linguine

Ingredients

6 strips bacon

1 medium onion chopped

6 cloves garlic minced

20 fresh clams

1/2 cup white wine

1/2 cup clam juice from canned clams

1 can chopped clams 6.5 oz

2 cans whole clams 10 oz

4 tblspoons butter

3/4 pound linguine

parsley chopped

tarragon chopped

red pepper flakes


Directions

Saute bacon and chop into pieces. Soften onion and garlic in 1 tbl bacon grease. Add white wine and juice from canned clams. Steam fresh clams and set aside while cooking the linguine. Finish sauce with butter. Toss cooked linguine with sauce. Garnish with bacon, fresh clams, parsley, tarragon and red pepper flakes.
