Suggest a better descriptionSaute bacon and chop into pieces. Soften onion and garlic in 1 tbl bacon grease. Add white wine and juice from canned clams. Steam fresh clams and set aside while cooking the linguine. Finish sauce with butter. Toss cooked linguine with sauce. Garnish with bacon, fresh clams, parsley, tarragon and red pepper flakes.
If no fresh clams are available, add another can of whole clams.
