Corn bread or Muffins

For muffins: pour into well greased muffin pan; bake in hot over 425 for 15 to 20 min. Makes 12 muffins

Ingredients

1 cup Cornmeal

1 cup Flour

4 teaspoons Baking powder

1/4 cup Sugar

1 teaspoon Salt

2 Eggs

1 cup Milk

1/4 cups Melted Butter


Directions

Sift four with sugar, baking powder and salt; stir in cornmeal. Beat eggs slightly, add milk and melted butter or margarine. Combine with dry ingredients, sir only til moist. Pour into greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake 425 for 20 to 25 min.
