Crescent Cookies Mom K always makes at Christmas

Ingredients

1/2 pound Butter softened

2 cup flour sifted

6 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoon Vanilla

1 tablespoons water

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups walnuts or pecans chopped small

Directions

Mix butter, sugar, vanilla & water. Mix flour, salt together then blend with butter mixture, mix well then add nuts 325 degrees, ungreased cookie sheet in the shape of a crescent moon or like a Russian tea cake Cook for 9-11 minutes - DON 'T LET THEM BROWN Cool & cover with confectionery sugar
