This is the first of these kinds of casseroles that has turned out well for me. I know that sounds strange. These should be some of the easiest casseroles to make, but I seem to be egg bake impaired. I put this together in the crock pot before going to bed and woke up to a perfectly cooked casserole. I unplugged the crock pot, took the lid off, and let it cool for about 30 minutes before serving. Would be great for entertaining overnight guests or serving at the end of an all-night party before sending everyone home.
