Duxelle Mushroom Cream Sauce

Ingredients

4 tablespoons Butter

16 ounces Cremini Mushrooms sliced

1 cup yellow onions chopped

2 tablespoon Garlic minced

3 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon lemon juice

4 cups Chicken broth

2 teaspoon Garlic powder

2 teaspoon Onion powder

1 teaspoon salt


Directions

Add butter and a teaspoon of canola oil to a large pan add onions and cook until soft. add mushrooms and spices and cook until soft. add stock and simmer for about 10 min until all ingredients are soft Add mixture to vitamix and puree for about a minute. ensure consistency is that of a thick soup. adjust as needed run puree through a china cap into a pan Add heavy cream if no dairy allergies- can omit if needed taste and season as needed.
