Falafel [Chilehead Version]

Ingredients

1/2 c Fine bulgur (cracked wheat),

2 Garlic minced

1/4 ts Turmeric

1/4 ts Freshly ground black or

3 tb Bread crumbs

1/2 ts Ground cumin

1 Egg beaten

1/2 ts Salt

Cayenne or hab powder to

1/4 ts Coriander

2 c Mashed, cooked garbanzos

2 tb Finely minced fresh parsley


Directions

Shape into 16 balls. Roll in flour and deep-fry in oil until golden in color. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
