Fried Cabbage

You can substitute almost any seasoning for the chicken bouillon and poultry seasoning, just use what YOU like!

Ingredients

4 tablespoons Butter

1 Onion -chopped

2 1/2 pounds Cabbage -chopped

1 tablespoon Chicken bouillon granules

1/2 teaspoon Poultry seasoning


Directions

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and saute onions until translucent and soft, but not brown. Add cabbage all at once, and sprinkle with bouillon and poultry seasoning. Toss to combine, lower heat to medium-low and cover pan. Cook, covered, stirring every 10 minutes, until cabbage reaches desired level of doneness. Per Serving: 75 Calories; 5g Fat (55.1% calories from fat); 2g Protein; 7g Carbohydrate; 3g Dietary Fiber; 12mg Cholesterol; 179mg Sodium.

Best cabbage I've ever made! TBH I have no idea what poultry seasoning is, but when I read other reviews and saw that someone "made (their) own broth" I figured I'd just add some water :-P also I had to add salt and pepper with my two chicken bullion cubes. But no complaints here. The butter and onion were just the perfect companions for my red cabbage!
