Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds Pecans

3/4 pound Candied Cherries

3/4 pound Candied Pineapple

1 Pound White raisins

1/2 pound Butter Softened

2 1/2 cups Sugar

6 Eggs

1 1/2 Ounces Brandy

4 Cups Flour Reserve 1/2 cup

1 teaspoon Nutmeg

1 teaspoon Mace

1 Teaspoon Salt

1 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon


Directions

Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time, then add brandy. Mix 1/2 cup flour with fruit in a separate bowl. Sift flour and spices into a separate bowl and mix well. Combine flour and spices with floured fruit. Thoroughly combine floured fruit and liquid. Grease and flour bread pans and grease wax paper for the bottom of the pans. Bake at 300 for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. After cooled then soak cheese cloth in brandy or orange juice and wrap loaves in cloth and alumin foil.
