2 - 2 1/4 lb. venison roast
For the marinade:
Juice of 1 lime (about 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large cloves garlic crushed
1/2 tsp each. cumin cilantro, red chile powder and salt
1/4 tsp pepper
For cooking the roast:
1/2 large white onion minced
1 medium potato peeled and cubed
1 cup green chile (I used jarred which adds extra water)
1/3 up(if you use jarred green chile) or 2/3 cup (if y
1/4 cup masa harina (or plain flour)
1 T. butter softened
