Graham Cracker Cake (Nestle)

Ingredients

1/2 cup Unsalted butter Used to call for CRISCO

1 cup Sugar

2 eggs creamed together

2 1/2 cup Graham crackers crumbs

2 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1 cup milk

1/4 lb Sweet butter

2 eggs separated use whites

1 large nestle chocolate bar


Directions

1/2 cup shortening (crisco) I Now use butter. Mix butter eggs sugar, add graham crumbs and baking soda (combined) alternately with milk and vanilla. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Sweet Buttercream icing: Let sweet butter soften at room temperature. Beat egg whites until fluffy. Melt Nestle chocolate in double boiler until soft (not oily) mix butter and chocolate first, then add to fluffy egg whites. Spread icing on cake that has cooled thoroughly. Refrigerate cake.
