Ingredients

3 pounds Dried (1 or 2 days)

1 pound

1/3 cup

1 stalk

1 medium

4 tablespoons

1 Slightly beaten


Directions

Brown meat Add butter, celery, and onion Sprinkle lightly with poultry seasoning (1tsp), salt and pepper Cover and cook slowly till celery and onion are soft (approx 30 min) Let cool Squeeze bread in cool water and place in pan to use to make stuffing Add egg to bread mixture Add poultry seasoning (approx 3 tsp) and sage (approx 1/2 tsp) to taste Boil neck and gizzards in salted water (approx 30 min) Use this water to moisten bread as needed Any extra water can be used for gravy Mix everything to desired consistency and season to taste Chill thoroughly before stuffing turkey
