Grilled Shrimp Skewers with Soy Sauce, Ginger and Toasted Sesame Seeds

Ingredients

24 large Shrimp shelled and deveined

Wooden skewers soaked in cold water for at least 30 minutes

1/3 cup Soy sauce

2 cloves Garlic finely chopped

1 tablespoon Fresh ginger grated

1 tablespoon Sesame Oil toasted

1 tablespoon Lime Juice

1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons Sesame seeds toasted

2 Green onions white and pale green parts only; thinly sliced on the diagonal


Directions

BF Boy Gets Grill, page 116 Serve on top of white rice with a side of Crunchy Vegetable Slaw with Peanut Sauce and Crispy Noodles (see recipe) Whisk teh soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, lime juice and pepper flakes. Marinate the shrimp in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Grill the shrimp until pink, opaque. Remove to a platter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately
