Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

1 package dry Italian style salad dressing mix

1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

8 ounces chive and onion cream cheese

1/2 cup dry white wine

4 each boneless chicken breast halves

Directions

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and stir in the salad dressing mix, soup, cream cheese, and wine until the sauce mixture is hot, smooth and well combined.Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on Low setting until chicken is tender, about 4 hours.

OMG this is wonderful. I served it over rice with some roasted carrots on the side. I didn't have onion chive cream cheese so I added some dried chive and dried onion to the mix. It turned out great! Thank you for posting this recipe.

Wonderful! I added onions and used Italian spice mix since I didn't have the dressing powder, came out wondeful. I had it with broken, cooked lasagna pasta

I modified this a liitle to what ingredients I had. I chopped up some fresh basil, parsley and chives that I grow. I also just used creme cheese and some chopped onion. WOW! the sauce was amazing. It could have been used with pasta as well. Thank you for posting this recipe so much.
