Hominy Grits

Ingredients

5 c Water

Black Pepper to taste

2 ts Sugar

3 tb Butter; (up TO 4)

1 ts Salt

1 c Hominy grits


Directions

http://www.foodtv.com/midatl/reclist.htm Bring water to boil and add salt. Add grits, 1/4 cup at a time, and stir constantly. When all the grits have been added, reduce heat and simmer covered for approximately 30-40 minutes, stirring grits occasionally to prevent sticking. When all the water has been absorbed and the grits are done, add the sugar and butter and stir.
