Hot Chicken Salad #3

Ingredients

4 c Celery chopped

4 c Cooked; cubed chicken

6 tb Chopped pimento

1 c Slivered almonds

1 cn (10.75-oz) cream of chicken

1 c Grated American cheese

6 c Crushed potato chips

1 c Mayonnaise

4 tb Onions chopped

4 tb Lemon juice

1 ts Salt


Directions

Mix all ingredients except cheese & chips. Toss lightly & place in a large, shallow baking dish. Spread chips, then cheese on top. Bake at 350 until brown & cheese is melted, about 30-45 minutes. I thought it was an all over lovely recipe, but unfortunately my guests and kids did not. The guests didn't like the almonds too much, and the kids I suppose have an aversion to pimentos that I had never noticed. I loved the warm chicken in this salad type dish, thank you for sharing and keep it up!
