Hot Dog Soup

One of my favorite soups growing up, this soup has lots of veggies and enough hot dogs to please the kids.

Ingredients

2 cups carrots coarsely chopped

1 1/2 cups potatoes cubed

1 cup onion

1 1/2 cups water

1 (10 oz) pkg frozen peas

1 1 lb pkg hot dogs cut into 1" pieces

1 cup milk

1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of celery soup

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

1. In a 4.5 quart Dutch pan, combine carrots, potatoes, onion, and water (enough to cover the veggies). Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until veggies are just tender. 2. Add hot dogs and peas. Cover and cook 5 minutes more. Stir in milk, soup, and cheese. Cook and stir until heated through and cheese is melted.
