Joanne's Chili

The chili recipe that my family asks for again and again. This makes a large batch of chili that you can serve to a crowd or freeze for later. Be sure to use a dutch over or 5 0r 6 litre crock pot.

Ingredients

2 lbs

1 large peeled and chopped

2 pkg

1 tbsp

1 tbsp

1 can

1 28 0z can

2 14 Oz can

1 can rinsed

1 can rinsed

1 can rinsed

1 can rinsed

1 can


Directions

Brown meat and drain off any fat. Add onion and saute until clear. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Let simmer on stove top for 30 minutes or put ingredients in crock pot and simmer on low for 8 hours. Season to taste by adding garlic, hot sauce, hot peppers etc.
