Ingredients

2 Oranges

3 ounce Package of lemon gelatin granules

3/4 cup Fresh orange juice

Directions

Adult: Cut a thin slice off one end of an orange to help it stand up on a plate or cutting board. Carefully slice downwards to remove the skin and pith. Adult: Cut the orange into thin, round slices. Child: Arrange some of the orange slices on the base and sides of the gelatin mold or glass bowl. Child: Pour the orange juice into a measuring cup, add the gelatin granules. Adult: Carefully top up with boiling water to make 2 1/2 cups in total. Child: Stir gently until the gelatin granules dissolve. Carefully pour half of the warm liquid gelatin into the gelatin mold, on top of the orange slices. Child: Put the remaining orange slices on top of the gelatin and then pour over the rest of the liquid mixture. Leave to cool, then chill for at least 6 hours to set.
