Ingredients

2 c Sugar

2 Sticks butter

2 Eggs

2 c Buttermilk

2 ts Baking soda

5 ts Baking Powder

6 c Flour

4 ts Vanilla

1 ds Salt


Directions

Mix together, cool until chilled, Kringla are traditionally shaped into figure 8's, are easier to shape when cool, bake at 475 for 5 minutes. In my family, we always buttered them and devoured them.

To get the best crust, be sure your skillet is very hot, and only turn once during cooking.
