Put ingredients in bread machine in order suggested by your bread machine instructions, set at dough setting. When done remove dough from bread pan and hand knead for two min. Roll out dough to shape as french bread (remember it will double in size during the rise). Sprinkle cookie sheet with corn meal and place dough in center. Make three diagonal cuts across bread about 1/4 inch deep.
Coating
Beat egg white and water together and lightly brush all visible surfaces of the bread. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees and bake for 20-25 min or until golden brown. When finished the bread will make a hollow sound when thumped on top and bottom. Remove from oven and enjoy.
