Use 9x13 jelly roll pan covered in foil dull side up
Grease foil pan
Lay matzah in pan so that the bottom is completely covered
Melt butter, add brown sugar in a 2 qt sauce pan
Mix thoroughly
Bring to boil on med high heat and stir constantly for 5 minutes(adjust heat as necessary so not to over boil)
Pour over matzah, smooth with the back of a buttered offset spatula
Bake at 350 for 5 minutes or until surface is just bubbling
Take our and sprinkle chocolate chips over surface
Let it rest for 5 minutes to let the chips melt
Spread the chocolate chips to cover toffee
Sprinkle nuts over top if desired
Freeze for 15 minutes and then cut it up or break it into pieces
