2 tablespoons olive oil
2 onions finely chopped
6 ounce tomato paste
8 cloves garlic pressed
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup red wine
2 28 ounce cans crushed tomatoes
1 cup parmesan cheese grated
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 pound Italian sausage casings removed
2 large eggs
1 1/4 pound 85% lean ground beef
3 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil
It can't be healthy because it was so good. I made a few adjustments but can't remember now, I start with a base recipe and adjust to my taste in the fly. I'll defiantly be starting with this again.
KylesbrownI love this recipe, because I can put it in the crockpot and forget it. The other thing i love is that the first night we can have meatball subs and the next spaghetti and meatballs this is a keeper in this house.
