Meatloaf

My mom's yummy meatloaf. The secret ingredient is pickle juice, which makes it sweet and tangy.

Ingredients

1 pound Ground beef

1/2 cup Oats

1 teaspoon Salt

1/8 teaspoon Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Dry mustard

1/2 teaspoon Onion powder

2 Eggs beaten

4 tablespoons Sweet pickle juice

6 tablespoons Ketchup

3 tablespoons Sweet pickle juice

4 teaspoons Brown sugar


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease loaf pan. 3. Mix ground beef, oats, salt, pepper, mustard, onion powder, eggs and pickle juice in a bowl. 4. Place beef mixture in loaf pan, smooth so it's distributed in pan evenly. 5. In a separate bowl, mix ketchup, pickle juice and brown sugar until smooth. 6. Spread ketchup mixture on top of meatloaf. 7. Bake for 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
