Mini Flank Steak Sandwiches

Ingredients

1/4 cup fresh ginger grated

5 garlic clove peeled and smashed

12 ounces sparkling water sparkling water

1 cup brown sugar brown sugar

1/2 cup cilanto cilanto

1/4 cup soy sauce soy sauce

1 tbs black pepper freshly ground black pepper freshly ground

1 1/2 pounds flank steak flank steak

1 cup blue cheese blue cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream sour cream

2 tbs milk milk

1 tbs lemon juice lemon juice

salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper to taste

24 rolls rolls


Directions

1. Crush ginger and garlic in a large resealable plastic bag with the flatside of a meat mallet 2. Add sparkling water, brown sugar, cilantro, soy sauce, pepper and steak 3. Marinate 30 minutes 4. Preheat grill to high 5. Combine blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, milk, lemon, saltand pepper in a bowl. Chill until ready to use 6. Grill steak 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from grill andlet rest 5 minutes 7. Slice against the grain. 8.
